Eastern Plains Senior Speak-Out
The Eastern Plains Legislative Task Force (EPLTF) annually sponsors this event, usually held in October each year. The EPLTF is composed of seniors citizens interested in legislative issues from sixteen easten Colorado counties. The conference location is rotated yearly, held in the southeast region of the state one year, on the central plains one year and then in the northeast region before starting all over again.
The conference was first held in 1977 as a means for legislators to learn first-hand the opinions of area seniors regarding legisation effecting them; giving senior citizens an opportunity to Speak-Out. Over the years, that purpose remains, but the conference has been expanded to include educational and recreational topics.
Senior Speak-Out XXXII (32)

This conference will be held on October 2 & 3, 2008
